1. Who we are

BillX (app.mybillx.in) is business software for billing, inventory, production, payroll, restaurants and dental clinics, run by Angel Web Services. This policy explains what information we collect when you use BillX, why, and how we protect it.

2. Information we collect

• Account details — business name, owner name, mobile number, email address and login ID. Your password is stored only as an encrypted hash; nobody, including us, can read it.
• Google sign-up — when you create an account with Google we receive only your name and email address, to confirm the email is yours. We get no access to your Gmail, contacts or files.
• Business data you enter — such as customers, suppliers, products, invoices, payments, stock, employees and payroll, and (for clinics) patients and treatment records.
• Sign-in and device information — IP address, browser and device type, sign-in times, approximate location (from the IP address) and the devices you are signed in on. We use this to keep your account secure.
• Payments — recharges are paid on the payment gateway's page (Razorpay or Cashfree). We receive the payment status, amount and reference; your card, UPI or bank details never reach our servers.
• Cookies and browser storage — a login cookie keeps you signed in, and your browser stores preferences such as the display theme or a remembered login ID. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

3. How we use it

• To provide BillX — your documents, reports, users and settings.
• For billing — your plan, usage and account balance.
• For security — blocking repeated wrong passwords, one login per device, and records of important changes.
• For support and service messages — such as balance reminders, plan changes and replies to your questions.
• To improve BillX.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Your business data belongs to you

The records you keep in BillX are yours. We store and process them only to run the service for you. Our staff access them only when you ask for support, to keep the service running, or when the law requires it. If you keep personal information about your own customers, employees or patients in BillX, you are responsible for having their permission and a lawful reason to do so.

5. Who we share it with

• Payment gateways (Razorpay, Cashfree) — to process your recharges.
• Google and Cloudflare — to confirm your email at sign-up and to stop automated (bot) sign-ups.
• Government portals and GST suvidha providers — only the document details you choose to send, when you use e-invoice or e-way bill.
• Your BillX dealer, if you joined through one — your business name and contact, plan, monthly usage and payments to BillX (for their commission), not your business records.
• Authorities — when the law requires it.

6. How we protect it

BillX runs over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Passwords are hashed; connection keys you save for e-invoice or other services are stored encrypted and never shown in full. Each user sees only what their role allows, staff access is limited and logged, and we keep backups to protect against data loss.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. After an account is deactivated, data is kept for a limited period (see the Terms & Conditions, Data Retention) and then deleted, except records we must keep by law, such as payment and tax records.

8. Your choices

• View and correct your details in BillX at any time (My profile, Settings).
• Ask us for a copy of your data, or to close your account and delete your data.
• Sign out other devices from My profile > My devices.

9. Children

BillX is meant for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in BillX about any important change.
